Gavin Plumb, 36, appeared in court after police arrested him for an alleged plot to kidnap and kill Holly Willoughby. Officers found chloroform, cable ties, a blindfold, and ropes at Plumb's home, which they believed could be part of a "kidnap and restraint kit." It is also suspected that Plumb tried to hire a hitman in the US to carry out the plot. Plumb has been charged with soliciting to commit murder and incitement to commit kidnap.

Support from Phillip

Schofield was reportedly horrified to learn about the alleged plot against Willoughby and wanted her to know that he was thinking of her and her family. Despite their lack of contact, Schofield reached out to his former friend, emphasizing the history they share and the seriousness of the situation.
