HOLLY Willoughby has been spotted looking completely different in a childhood snap without her trademark blonde hair.
The This Morning presenter once had much darker locks, revealed in the throwback snap of her and sister Kelly during their school years.
The sweet picture – which was originally posted to the TV host’s Instagram in 2019 – shows Holly, 40, posing in her school uniform.
Big sister Kelly is seen wrapping a protective arm around the now mother-of-three in the snap, adored by Holly’s 7.3million followers.
“Me and my sis off to school many, many moons ago,” she captioned the snap. “And now it’s a new school year. Perhaps there’s a new school to discover and new friends to make.”
She went on to encourage children who have returned to school to “attack” any challenges they are faced with “with determination”.
“Whatever challenges you are faced with this September, attack them with all the self-belief, hard graft and determination you can muster,” she added, concluding: “You’ve got this guys!”
While facially Holly hasn’t changed much – especially her familiar smile – many fans were shocked to see such a dramatic change in her hair colour.
“You should have your hair dark again, gorgeous,” one fan complimented Holly, as another added they could “still tell it was her”.
“Holly you haven’t changed at all since this cute picture. Your smile is priceless. Ageless and gorgeous forever,” a third added.
“You’ve not changed at all, super cute photo,” a fourth concluded under the childhood snap, with a fifth adding: “Same smile!”
Holly is not a natural blonde, and shocked her fans during the national lockdown when she was forced to die her hair at home.
However, it was a disaster and she revealed how she accidentally dyed her hair red after experimenting with spray-in bleach.
“I went red by accident when I was much much younger and you want to experiment with your hair,” she told Vogue’s beauty and lifestyle director Jessica Diner during a video call.
“I’d gone blonde by using one of those beach spray blondes… So I came back home and was like ‘Oh I’d better just put this dark hair dye over the top.’
“And obviously, I’m not a colourist but that was a disaster. It didn’t go brown it went red, and not a nice red, and I had to stay like that until the colour grew out.”
While she has plenty of cash to splash at the salon, Holly also revealed that she frequently uses box dye to touch up her hair at home.
The former model told fans that she uses Garnier Nutrisse as part of her sponsorship with the company to fix her roots.
“I mean, I can’t believe it comes as that much of a surprise to people,” she revealed on Instagram about people’s confusion over her dying her hair.
