This time it was EastEnders that was the big winner on the night after losing out to Emmerdale at the NTAs.

She looked great in a daring black dress with a see-through train.
EastEnders’ Danielle Harold also wowed in black, heading out in a mini dress and strappy heels.
Jennifer Metcalfe had people green with envy in a bandeau frock with a thigh-high split and matching heels.
Lacey Turner howled with laughter as she was escorted to her car by two helpful minders.
Milly Zero was another beaming actress in a pale blue dress with a frilled skirt and ruffled shoulders.
Victoria Ekanoye was pretty in pink in an eye-catching suit as she sauntered down the street.
Earlier in the night EastEnders won the highly sought-after ‘Best Soap’ trophy, along with ‘Best Actress’ for Gillian Wright, for her portrayal of Jean Slater.
Jean’s trip to Southend, while in the grip of her bipolar disorder, won ‘Best Showstopper’ – awarded to a significant episode.
With more than 90,000 votes cast, EastEnders’ Lacey – who plays Stacey Slater – was presented with a unique gold trophy at the star-studded event.
Meanwhile, Heather Peace was named ‘Best Newcomer’ for her portrayal of Eve Unwin.
Elsewhere, Emmerdale – which celebrated its 50th birthday this week – continues to ride a wave of success.
Mark Charnock was awarded ‘Best Actor’ for his portrayal of Marlon Dingle’s fight back from a debilitating stroke – which was also named ‘Best Storyline’.
Marlon’s relationship with Rhona Dingle, played by Zoe Henry, was celebrated as ‘Best Romance’.
Paige Sandhu claimed ‘Best Villain’ for the second year, for her performance as Emmerdale serial killer Meena Jutla.
Coronation Street’s wildly popular Maureen Lipman was again awarded ‘Best Comic Performance’ for her role as the acid-tongued Evelyn Plummer.
While Isabella Flanagan – played by rising star Hope Stape – won ‘Best Young Performance’, beating her real-life older sister – three-time winner Amelia Flanagan, Emmerdale’s April Windsor – to the prize.
