IT WAS a ‘socially distanced’ reunion for Hollyoaks stars Lucy-Jo Hudson and Denise Welch this week.
The pair pouted their lips for a ‘set selfie’ as they worked on the set of the Channel 4 soap.
The momentous occasion marked a huge 16 years since they worked together to front ITV’s Loose Women.
Taking the happy snap with a flask in her hand, Lucy-Jo, 38, wrote: “Socially distanced “Set Selfie”.
“It’s been a long time since I worked with this gorgeous lady @denise_welch. Thanks for the giggles and a good old catch up!

Lucy-Jo also shared a Boomerang of the newly-reunited co-stars fooling around on set with fellow cast member Ross Adams.
She commented: “Great afternoon working with these two.”
The pair were last on set together giving their opinions on the ITV panel show in 2005.
And despite having both worked for Hollyoaks and Coronation Street previously, their paths have rarely crossed.
Denise, 63, played Natalie Barnes in Corrie from 1997 to 2000, before her role as Trish Minniver in Hollyoaks this year.
While Lucy-Jo starred as Kathy Harris on the cobbles from 2002 to 2005.
The mum-of-one took on the role of Hollyoaks’ Donna-Marie in 2018 before a recent break.
A trailer for the Chester soap last month revealed her character’s explosive return, surprising her daughter Juliet Nightingale.
Donna-Marie was set to leave the village with her daughter in January 2020, after being released from prison, but she fell back into old habits when she had a drug overdose.
She’s now back and desperate to prove to her children that she’s changed, but can she be trusted.
