She backed Katie Price’s ‘track a troll’ petition

She also backed Katie Price’s ongoing “track a troll” petition, that calls for users to provide ID in order to set up online accounts.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Sarah Jayne wrote: “Whoever keeps sending me disgusting, inappropriate photos and messages, and setting up different accounts to do the same despite me continually blocking you; I am logging everything and have reported everything to the police and @Instagram.

“This is the reason you should have to provide ID to have an account, to those saying, it’s not a violation of privacy.”

She also tagged Greater Manchester Police in the post.

Katie has long-campaigned for there to be stricter regulations when it comes to setting up profiles on websites such as Instagram and Twitter, with her disabled son Harvey, 19, constantly targeted with sick messages.

She has the backing of many celebs, with the latest surge of support coming after the Euro 2020 final which saw our players get bombarded with disgusting racist abuse.

Sarah shot to fame playing Mandy Richardson in Hollyoaks back in 1996.

She left in 2011, before returning six years later in 2017.

The actress is married to husband Jonathan Smith, and the pair share four-year-old son Stanley.
