Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter recently welcomed her baby daughter into the world via c-section. The actress, known for her role as Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, shared her daughter's beautiful and unique name.
Meet Peony Porter Piotrowski
Jorgie Porter and her fiance Ollie Piotrowski named their daughter Peony. Explaining the choice, Jorgie mentioned, "We'd not heard of anyone with the name Peony and I love the flowers, they're so beautiful." She added that they decided not to give her a middle name as Peony Porter Piotrowski is already quite a mouthful.
A Long-Awaited Arrival
Jorgie Porter confirmed her daughter's birth on December 11th, expressing gratitude towards the medical team at Wigan hospital. She also praised her midwife, Sandi, for her support throughout the journey.
From Pregnancy Announcement to Parenthood
Jorgie revealed her pregnancy back in May on the final episode of the ITVBe reality series, Drama Queens. Becoming a mother has been an emotional journey for Jorgie, who previously experienced a miscarriage before welcoming her son Forest in 2022.
