Hollyoaks star teases ‘drastic change’ for Verity Hutchinson as pregnancy ruse finally exposed

HOLLYOAKS star Eva O’Hara has teased a “drastic change” for Verity Hutchinson as her pregnancy ruse is finally exposed.

Verity will finally come clean about her baby lie to her boyfriend Sami – who is played by Rishi Nair in the Channel 4 soap – and leave him looking for a quick escape route.

And speaking recently, Eva teased that the incident will change Verity forever. 

Speaking about why Verity agreed to lie to Sami about a pregnancy, Eva told Inside Soap: “It’s to do with the way Verity was brought up by Edward.

“She’s quite good at harbouring secrets. It’s not that far away from her personality to keep things shtum and actually get herself in far deeper than she would have if she was just honest.”

She added: “But in the coming weeks, she learns something about herself, and that prompts a drastic change in her situation…”

What’s on the cards for Verity?

Hollyoaks viewers know that Verity was backed into a corner after agreeing to hide her sister-in-law Diane’s secret pregnancy. 

When Tony, who is oblivious to Verity and Edward’s affair, found a pregnancy test, he assumed Verity was pregnant. 

Verity was then forced to lie to Sami and pretend he was going to become a father.

This week, Tony will finally discover that Diane is expecting a baby and Verity will resolve to tell Sami the truth.

The couple’s relationship then hits the rocks when Verity comes clean about her lies. 

Scott Drinkwell’s drag alter ego Anita Tinkle will try and help Verity pick up the pieces and win Sami back.

But will Verity lose Sami forever?

Viewers will have to tune in to see.
