A significant portion of his earnings, $50 million (£40 million), stemmed from his involvement in the Christmas action comedy Red One, despite its lukewarm reception.

Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart follow closely

Ryan Reynolds secured the second spot, bringing in $85 million (£68 million) for his roles as producer, co-writer, and star in Deadpool & Wolverine. Additionally, Reynolds capitalized on the film's success by producing related advertisements through his marketing agency Maximum Effort. Comedian Kevin Hart claimed the third position with earnings of $81 million (£64 million).

Nicole Kidman shines as highest-paid actress

Nicole Kidman, the highest-paid actress on the list, pocketed $31 million (£25 million), securing the eighth spot overall. Scarlett Johansson and Mariska Hargitay were the only other women in the top 20, with Johansson being the youngest at 40 years old.

Established stars outshine younger talent
