Like many in the public eye, the Hollyoaks actress, is subjected to cruel comments when sharing aspects of her life with her little one, but she takes it on her chin.

Jorgie said: “I am a person who doesn’t listen or take in what anyone really says negatively. If anything I block them, I’ve probably lost more followers blocking them, rather than caring what they think.”

However, she admitted that she does sometimes find their comments helpful.

She continued: “But I do take on board what mums say, so if they say “That shouldn’t really happen”, sometimes I think “Oh, okay, that’s it. I’ve never heard of that. Or that’s kind of cool.” But mum shaming no, I don’t even listen, I don’t even take it in.”

Jorgie has been engaged  to Ollie since 2021 but admits that wedding plans have taken a back seat since becoming a mum.

Asked if she had any plans, she said: “Absolutely not. I am the worst planner in the world. I would love it just to be done for me. Ollie always asks “Are we ever going get married?” And I’m like “Yes, of course”, he’s like “Bur do you want to”, and I’m like “Yes, of course. But can someone else do it.”

“So, I’d love to do Don’t Tell The Bride. If anything, he would put together the most classy, amazing, wedding, but there would be five stag dos. But he would ultimately produce an amazing wedding.

“For the foreseeable we think do we want Forest walking first, like, what do we actually want and how to do it, so it’s not in our minds right now.”

Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, is looking forward to getting back to work, but says she’s slightly nervous about it.

She shared: “Obviously you do think “Oh my god I’ll be away from my baby” because you are with them for 24/7, so I am a bit worried about what will what will happen.

“But I have been doing little jobs here and there has been a good little training session for my mind I am still somebody not just mum at home.

“I’m not going to lie is a bit daunting, and I think all mums are a bit like that. I think we get a bit worried going back to work, but it’s just life, it’s going to have to happen, and it’ll just work, because we won’t know any different.”
