IT might not be the most wonderful time of the year on the Coronation Street cobbles for one resident this year following a terrifying hit and run.
Stephen Reid will take his reign of terror to a new level this festive season on the Corrie cobbles as his lies and deceit get even more out of control.
Disaster rocks the Street
Stephen and Teddy have a war of words
Teddy is soon knocked down by a van
Having killed Jenny’s partner Leo earlier in the year, Stephen struck up a feud with his father Teddy and has done everything he can to steer him off the scent of discovering the truth including planting a series of false messages from Leo.
As Christmas approached, Jenny receives a call from Teddy to say whilst in Canada trying to find information out about Leo’s disappearance, he has discovered some news.
Stephen masks his inner turmoil at the thought of Teddy being onto him.
Jenny then reveals the next day that Teddy has agreed to drop by in order to fill her in on his latest update about her missing partner.
Stephen is filled with dread but he soon spies Teddy heading into the Rovers worse for wear and stops to chat to him.
Teddy announces to him that he has confirmation that Leo never arrived in Canada as the text on his phone came from Weatherfield.
This news panics Stephen as he discovers that Teddy and Jenny are even closer to discovering the truth he has tried so desperately to keep hidden.
Teddy informs his son’s murdered that he needs to tell Jenny about his new discovery but tragedy soon strikes.
As he goes to cross the street, Teddy is hit by a van.
Nick witnesses the accident and looks on in horror as he sees an unconscious Teddy lying in the street.
As Teddy remains unconscious on the road, Jenny rushes over to help her former school friend and would’ve been father-in-law.
Has the tragic accident saved Stephen from being exposed?
Is this Stephen’s chance?
