HOUSE of the Dragon viewers all had a bit of a shock whilst watching a recent episode, as they spotted a familiar face.
Throughout the Game of Thrones spin-off, fans have been introduced to the Hand of the King Ser Otto Hightower’s brother, Ser Hobert Hightower.
Steffan Rhodri acts in House of the Dragon
Whilst it didn’t click for many straight away, many have now realised where they recognise the actor from.
Hobert is played by Welsh actor Steffan Rhodri, who is best known for his role in a very famous BBC comedy drama series.
Gavin and Stacey fans will know him as Dave Coaches, the lovable coach driver who ends up stealing Nessa’s heart.
Many House of the Dragon viewers took to social media once they recognised the actor.
One wrote: “Can’t believe wee Dave Coaches is running about Westeros nowadays acting as if he doesn’t love the dodgems! 
”
A second said: “Watching #HouseoftheDragon & then go ‘OH, that’s Dave Coaches'”.
Another added: “Watching #HouseoftheDragon or rather, playing ‘what’s this guy from?’
“And enjoying the British television universe crossovers of the dad from Fleabag, Dave Coaches from Gavin & Stacey, and the hot twins from Shameless.”
This isn’t actor Steffan’s first rodeo in the fantasy genre, as he’s already had some incredible roles.
He’s previously acted in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as well as Wonder Woman.
