How Ferne McCann hid her baby bump from using Sunday as a cover-up to baggy jackets

FERNE MCCANN’S is expecting her second baby and has used a series of subtle tricks to keep the happy news hidden.

The former Towie star is said to be delighted about becoming a mum again and can’t wait to have her first child with fiancé Lorri Haines.

Over the Christmas period Ferne gave her followers a look inside her family life as they celebrated in a country home in Devon.

And just days ago she marked her anniversary with Lorri at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse.

Look closely though, and Ferne was careful to avoid any snaps that directly showed her stomach.

She wore loose fitting jumpers and jackets or angled herself so that her belly was out of view.

One snap of her hugging Lorri saw her nestle in to him so that any rounding of her tum was obscured.

Prior to that, she uploaded a video in her bathroom with daughter Sunday well-positioned in front of her as they advertised a skincare product.

Fans started speculating that Ferne was expecting after she posted a loved up tribute to Lorri this week – with one saying “100% a baby on the way”.

A pal has now confirmed to The Celeb Report: “Ferne is over the moon. From the moment she met Lorri she knew she wanted to marry him and have his kids.

“They’re both ready to commit and are looking forward to their future together.”

A spokesperson for Ferne is yet to respond to our request for comment.

Essex star Ferne, who is already mum to daughter Sunday, five, revealed to The Celeb Report last year that she knew she had finally met “The One” weeks into her romance with Lorri.

A besotted Ferne said: “I would love to get married and I think about it all the time.

“I have never thought about it until now because I have met someone now that I would genuinely marry.”

The loved-up couple last month jetted off on a “life changing” getaway to India, where Ferne was spotted meditating.

The star first turned to spiritual healing practices to reduce stress in her life in 2018.

Ferne told The Celeb Report back then: “I’m into crystal healing, meditation and mindfulness. I recently had a ‘closing of the bones’ ceremony.

“It’s a treatment you have after having a baby. It brings all your bones and your hips back into alignment and celebrates that you gave birth.

“You go through so much when you’re pregnant and when you give birth, and this is a very holistic, meditational, spiritual treatment.”

Prior to getting her spot on Towie, Ferne was a hair stylist and colourist for six years.

She became a household name after her debut on the ninth series, but left the show in 2016, shortly after reaching the final on I’m A Celebrity.

Ferne went on to star in her own show First Time Mum.

Meanwhile, former Dubai-based jeweller Lorri recently embarked on a new career as a life coach and has launched ‘well-being tech start-up’ Shoorah.

According to pals, the couple are hoping for a “low-key” wedding in the French Riviera.

“She may go abroad but she is wanting to keep it a bit more low-key and much more intimate and focus on the friends and family that she’ll have there,” an insider told OK! Magazine.
