Carol, 60, is a Welsh TV personality who is most famous for hosting game show Countdown.
She was born in 1960, in Bedfordshire, but moved to Prestatyn in North Wales after her parents split.
The talented star studied engineering at the University of Cambridge, before working as a junior civil engineer at Dinorwig Power Station in Wales.
After landing her gig on Countdown in her early twenties, she has gone on to star in many TV shows such as Loose Women from 2011 until 2014, Have I Got News for You, The Celeb Reportday Night Project and Lorraine.
Not content with conquering the TV world, Carol has also taken to the skies, becoming a fully fledged member of the Air Cadets.
Carol is heralded as one of the sexiest women in Britain after she started showing off her killer figure in clingy bandage dresses.

She then carried on alongside Des Lynam then Des O’Connor until 2008.

No she isn’t but she has been married twice.
First to Royal Navy officer Christopher Mather from 1985 to 1986 and then to management consultant Patrick King from 1990 to 2000.
Carol and Patrick have two children together, Katie and Cameron.
Pretty brunette Katie graduated from Cambridge University in 2015, and it was a special moment for Carol.

Curvy Carol sent jungle temperatures to an all-time high when she starred on I’m A Celebrity.
She was one of the twelve stars in Australia taking part in 2016.
She hit the ground running after arriving in the jungle, excelling in the first eating Bushtucker Trial alongside Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.
Carol showed her cheeky side, too, striking up a flirtatious rapport with comedian Joel Dommett and moaning with pleasure during a group massage session around the campfire.
Carol became the fifth camp mate to leave the jungle, after spending nineteen days in the jungle.
