  • You also have to show proof you have at least £3,000 to spare as the garden transformation is done out of your own pocket – but you do get a team of experts to help you transform your back yard.

How does Garden Rescue work?

Garden Rescue, produced by Spun Gold TV, sees garden designers compete against each other to build dream gardens for homeowners across the country.

Each programme sees the team descend on a garden that is badly in need of a makeover.

The homeowners have their own real-world budget that the garden designers must stick to.

The designers compete to try to create a garden that fulfils its owners’ needs.

The homeowner has to choose one garden design to be built – the losing designer will then have to work with the winning designer to bring the vision to life.

When is Garden Rescue on TV?
