How to apply for Future Food Stars
For a chance to be in the second series of Future Food Stars, you can apply online here.
The rules to apply are as follows:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age and over.
- You will be in the early stage of running a food or drink related business or be fully trading.
- You must be available for principal filming for approximately 7-9 weeks during the summer of 2022.
- You must be a resident of the UK.
This series is not open to applicants with an idea that has not yet been developed into a business.
Applications close at 23:59 on April 4, 20222.

What is Future Food Stars and how does it work?
Twelve contestants will battle it out in a series of challenges.
Each week one contestant will be eliminated before the TV chef, Gordon Ramsay, awards £150,000 of his own money to the winning entrepreneur.
The winner will be the one who is able to prove they have what it takes to transform the food and drink scene.
According to an official synopsis for the series: “Gordon’s always been at the cutting edge of the food industry, and he’s prepared to put his money where his mouth is by backing the winner with an investment to take their idea to the next level.”
“This isn’t a man who suffer fools, and Gordon will push all 12 candidates to their limits through a series of relentless challenges inspired by his highly successful career.
“Being the last entrepreneur standing will win them a life-changing reward.”

When does it start on BBC?
Future Food Stars will start on Thursday, March 31 at 9pm on BBC One.
There will be new instalments weekly, with all episodes also available to watch via BBC iPlayer.
The first episode of the series will see Gordon invite the entrepreneurs to Cornwall, where they will be faced with an intense challenge.
They will have to work in teams to run food shacks on the beach, but can only use the finest local produce to do so.
Those that fail to impress chef Ramsay will have to leave the competition for good.
