ONE of the BBC’s biggest dramas is taking a break next week as Eurovision takes over the schedules.

Casualty is not on next Saturday – and nor are several others big entertainment shows.

It means viewers will have to wait for the next instalment of the increasingly exciting soap, which last saw saw a hospital evacuation.

A bomb was discovered in the ED after a patient arrived with unexploded grenades on him in what one fan called a “brilliant episode”.

However, next Saturday, the BBC’s main channel is all about Eurovision – with coverage from 8pm until midnight.

It has meant some shows been off that week and some – such as Match of the Day – moving to BBC Two.

ITV have decided not to put Britain’s Got Talent up against the Song Contest, with the hit also taking a break.

Fans of the primetime hit, hosted by Ant and Dec, will have to wait an extra day to watch it next weekend.

The blockbuster Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom be on ITV at 8pm instead, while BGT has been bumped to Sunday at 7.40pm.

Meanwhile, Eurovision will be broadcast live from Liverpool from 8pm until midnight on BBC One on Saturday, May 13.

In a change to his usual job of Eurovision commentator, Graham Norton will be hosting the big event.

The chat show host is joined by Alesha Dixon, Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina.
