Heartfelt tribute

THE Apprentice’s Avi Sharma has paid a beautiful tribute to his little sister after her death. The 25-year-old, who took part in the BBC show last year, bravely spoke out about his loss in a touching post on Instagram.

A promise to make her proud

Sharing a sweet picture of the pair together, Avi wrote: "Today, we said goodbye to my little sis, Evani. Evani was genuinely 1 in a trillion—so selfless, and such a bright spark. I’m going to miss you like crazy. This experience has taught me to appreciate every moment."

Strength in reflection

Avi continued, "You turned this into a beautiful time of reflecting and reminiscing about you. You left us the day after turning 16. What saddens me most is when I think of how bright your future could’ve been. But I find solace in knowing that you’re no longer suffering. You give me strength. I know you’re watching over me. Evani, I promise to make you proud."

Condolences from fans and friends

Many fans rushed to share their condolences with Avi, as well as former cast mates. Avi is best known for starring in the seventeenth series of The Apprentice last year, where he was the youngest contestant of his series.
