SOAP star Tina Malone might be turning 60 but she admits she’s looking like she’s 40 after quitting booze.
The star, who played Shameless‘ outspoken Mimi, was in the show from 2005, until it ended in 2013.

Her character was described as “the foul-mouthed, loud, brash and violent matriarch of the Maguire family”.
And she’s dropped 12st and says she’s “feeling sexy” now she’s turned 60.
Tina said: “I’m so proud of being 60, it’s a ripe old age and I look 40!
“People always say ‘you can’t be 60,’ I love telling people. I feel the best I ever have – and I think I probably feel the sexiest I have in my life too.”
She continued to tell Closer that tough times in the past few years have given her a new perspective on life.
Tina continued: “I’ve been to so many funerals in the last few years that I’m just grateful to get to 60. Age is a privilege.
“I’m going to visit a different country every single month this year.
“In January I went to Spain, February is Rome. I also want to go to Poland, Holland and LA.
“My daughter Flame is coming with me to most of these places so we can create memories together, and then hopefully one day she’ll take her children there too.”
Tina had a face lift last year and went under the knife because she feared she looked “miserable”.
The busy working mum beamed in The Celeb Report’s exclusive snaps taken in Manchester, while unloading luggage from her car at the time.
She told Closer about her surgery, saying: “I’m over the moon with how I look.
“My old face appeared sad and miserable now I look healthier sexier and prettier than ever. The last few years have been tough and this has given me something to smile about.”
She treated herself to the op after a difficult time in lockdown, adding: “The last two years we’re rough in every way.
“I’ve attended 22 funerals and four of them were suicides. It was very traumatic.
“My little girl didn’t cope well during lockdown and I felt flat and low. Paul lost his job in the military and my acting jobs dries up as soon as the pandemic hit we struggled with money.”
