But despite her TV success Michael Owen‘s daughter insists her life hasn’t changed much.
During a YouTube Q&A with fans Gemma was asked: “How do you find trusting people now, is it hard?”
She replied: “To be honest I’ve always had a small friendship group and that’s just how I’ve been from a very young age.
“I’m lucky enough to be really close to all of my family and our family friends. I’ve got them to talk to and who I know I can trust.

“Nothing’s really changed since coming out of the villa in that sense. I’m mad busy in the week and when it comes to the weekend, I’m not one of those girls who love going out partying and clubbing and being a girls’ girl.
“I’ve never done that and I don’t intend to start now. My weekends are with the horses, training, competing, with family or my boyfriend. I’d rather have two friends I can trust with everything.”
Gemma’s comments come after her Love Island co-star Paige Thorne hinted at a feud between the pair in a new interview.
When asked on the Saving Grace podcast if she’s not close to Gemma, Paige didn’t deny it but declined to answer.
