FORMER EastEnders star Charlie Winter has ditched acting in favour of a career as singer.
Charlie, 27, is best known for playing Hunter Owen – the son of Melanie [Tamzin Outhwaite] in EastEnders.

But these days he’s a singer who has been compared to Justin Bieber
But following his exit from the soap in 2018 he is pursuing a music career and has been getting some big comparisons.
Charlie posted a clip of him singing at home and his followers to the comments section to have their say.
One wrote: “Low the Justin Bieber ting.”
Comparing Charlie to Justin Timberlake, another wrote: “Easy JT.”
And a third added: “Release this asap Chaz.”
Charlie’s character Hunter – the son of Steve Owen [Martin Kemp] – was killed by police after shooting Ben Mitchell and Keanu Taylor and trying to murder Ben’s sister Louise.
The dramatic storyline saw Hunter’s final scene take place in the middle of Albert Square as his lifeless body lay on the ground.
Prior to his shock death Hunter was involved in some dramatic storylines, including turning killer and shooting Ray Kelly for attempting to murder Mel.
