Danny, 31, who was crowned King of the Castle on last year’s series – filmed in Wales – admitted he struggled to adjust to “normal” life.
Speaking to Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway on Good Morning Britain on Friday morning, he said it was “overwhelming” to return home after being away for over a month.
The actor admitted: “It took me a few months to go, ‘Oh, I wish I could do it again’, because I hated the feeling of being completed isolated to then, a load responsibilities.”
Ben, 47, replied: “Interesting, so the decompression on the way out was quite hard to get your head around?”

“I really struggled,” Danny continued. “It was hard, suddenly – you didn’t have to worry about anything [in there] you had no stress, no worries and no anxieties.
“Then suddenly you’re put out and someone goes, ‘Well done for winning, there’s your phone back’.
“It was quite overwhelming and it took me a while to think that I wanted to go back in and try it all again.”
It comes after it was revealed that father-of-one Danny snubbed the All-Star version after admitting he’s ‘relieved’ not to be taking part.
Danny, who is best known for playing Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale, won the 22nd series of the ITV show last year.

Danny said he thinks he’s “a bit too new” to take part in the spin-off.
“I think if they are doing that, I certainly haven’t heard about it,” he told the Daily Star.
“It’s a bit of a relief to hear they’re not gonna knock on my door because obviously you can’t say no to them – they’ve given me a lot of opportunities having been on the show.
“I think I’m probably a little bit too new having just been through it to be classed as a winner.”
Danny was crowned king of the castle just ahead of Corrie star Simon Gregson in the Welsh castle last year.
