Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo has revealed the reason she cried during re-coupling
The emotionally draining segment saw her Casa Amor flame Casey O’Gorman select to stay with Claudia Fogarty, despite dental receptionist Cynthia believing they had a close bond.
She was seen sobbing in an episode where Claudia, also a bombshell, was slammed as “gross” for giggling as the action played out.
Now Cynthia has revealed the reason for her tears – which was cut out of Love Island‘s episode at the time.
She recalled the memory and told FUBAR radio: “Ron was looking at me, Tom was looking at me.
“Everyone was looking at me apart from Casey. Certain scenes got cut.
“I made a comment of ‘I guess I’m the girl that never gets picked’ and Ron was basically saying ‘Cyn I promise you someone will pick you’ and that’s when I really started to cry and I turned around.
“That’s what set me off.”
At the time, she was left shocked when Casey picked Claudia over her.
It resulted in a back and forth between Casey and Claudia and the Casa Amor girls, who stood by the fire pit and attempted to comfort Cynthia.
As it unfolded, Claudia appeared to laugh as she sat beside Casey and this caught the attention of viewers and the other girls who called her out for her behaviour.
On social media, one person wrote: “Claudia definitely isn’t as nice as she seems for laughing.”
Another person added: “Claudia’s vibes are ….off, that’s all I’ll say for now.”
