I was on Love Island and here’s why watching the recoupling ceremonies makes me feel physically sick, says Amy Hart

AMY Hart says watching Love Island’s Casa Amor recoupling made her “physically sick” following her painful split from Curtis Pritchard on the ITV2 show.

The TV star has now met the “love of her life” in entrepreneur Sam, but admitted she still feels the sting of Curtis ditching her for another girl in the Casa Amor villa in 2019.

The former air stewardess was planning to tell Curtis she had fallen in love with him when he returned single from Casa Amor – but moments later she had her heart broken when he confessed he had wanted to bring stunning girl Jourdan back, but the bombshell turned him down.

Amy, 29, said: “When I first came out the villa, I didn’t want to watch it.

“I used to go to a lot of events that would be a meet and greet and then a screening of the show and I would say ‘I need to leave before 9pm because I’m not watching it anymore.”

She added: “I’m now in a relationship with the love of my life, I’m with my lovely Sam so I feel all right now when I watch Love Island.

“But last year, when I was waiting for Millie (Court) and Liam (Reardon) to be reunited after Casa Amor, I felt physically sick.”

This year’s episode would have no doubt made Amy’s stomach turn after all of the boys shared beds with Casa Amor girls and three of them brought back new partners.

However, she’s moved on and is looking forward to what turning 30 brings after meeting Sam.

She said she is focused on settling down and starting a family with her man, who she started dating in April 2021.

She told MailOnline: “In my 20s, I did everything for me, I did Love Island and life went mad.

“I bought a house and met Sam when I was 28, so now I am excited for my 30s and to see what Sam and I are going to achieve together.

“My 30s are for me, Sam, and any children we may have.”

Amy had been technically single all her life before meeting Sam.
