I was on Love Island and huge feud and Islanders fallout wasn’t shown on TV

LOVE Island star Spencer Wilks admitted that there was a “huge divide” between the boys during his time on the show.

The dumped contestant, 24, explained that the drama over Ron’s treatment towards Lana caused friction within the villa, resulting in the boys picking sides.

Spencer admitted the feud was intensified in the villa – saying it was “worse than what was shown on TV”.

“There is only 45 minutes with ad, you can’t expect them to fit everything in, because a lot happens in that day for everyone, there is around 16 of us,” he said on Dr Richard podcast.

“We are always doing something silly or chatting about something, they have to cut things out.

“Everyone on this year was very close, boys wise, there was this divide with the whole Ron situation and it was kind of worse when you’re in there than what they show on TV.”

But things weren’t all

He went on: “Otherwise we were very close boys, because we spend so much time together and you have to squash it.

“I got to know all the girls, the only one was Tanya that I didn’t know properly but we were all close friendship-wise.

“Lana was probably the one I was closest to.

“We spoke all the time – talking about random stuff like aliens and animals.

“So it was strange coming out and seeing they didn’t show any of that.”

It comes after Spencer had his say about being unfairly edited out of the series.

Spencer has responded to fan questions on Instagram about his time on the show, and he believes viewers missed out on seeing him due to Love Island‘s editing choices.

It was something his friends and loved ones had already criticised the show for.

When one fan asked: “Is there any moment you wish was shown on TV?” Spencer bluntly responded there was more to the eye than viewers got.

“There is so much I wish they showed,” he said. “I haven’t watched it back but I know they didn’t show much of me and my personality, they never showed me making the girls laugh or the jokes I’d make.

“I also made coffees every morning for Liv and sometimes for Tanyel and Samie.”

Spencer only lasted nine days in the South African villa before getting dumped, during which time he was partnered with Olivia Hawkins.

However, the pair quickly realised they weren’t a match and remained friends as they cracked on elsewhere.
