He even revealed he was left “bleeding” after being called out by the now villa queen.
In this week’s season finale, which aired on Monday, Jess Harding and Sammy Root were crowned the Love Island winners.
Pipping Zach Noble and Molly Marsh, Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas and Lochan Nowacki and Whitney Adebayo to the post.
Just one night prior, Mitchel and villa flame Ella Barnes were dumped from the island, falling short of making it to the final.
Now the pair are back in the UK, Mitch – who has been dubbed “Messy Mitch” due to his questionable behaviour on the show – has wasted no time in spilling the Love Island tea.
Chatting to his Instagram stories during a Q&A, Mitch, 26, revealed that Jess had “bust” his top lip during a challenge – but the moment wasn’t shown on camera.
The gas-engineer was asked by a follower: “How did it feel getting all those pies?” referring to the brutal “Snog, Marry, Pie” challenge, where Mitch received majority of the pies from the girls.
To which Mitch admitted: “To be honest with you, don’t cry over spilt cream for starters.
“And Jess did throw one at me that hard that it bust my top lip.
“Which she apologised for, so no one even attempt to give her hate.
“‘Cos’ a challenge is a challenge. But, I didn’t mind it. Had a bit of a facial, and I’m chilling.”
It comes after co-star and former villa veteran Kady McDermott, 27, spilled the tea on her Love Island co-star Zach Noble, 25, and his messy antics during the challenge.
Talking on the Not My Bagg YouTube channel, she revealed that Zach threw a piece of pie at Whitney, after she pied him.
She explained: “Zach in the Snog Marry Pie challenge, they didn’t show this, but when Whitney pied him he was so annoyed he picked up the cake and threw it at her.”
According to Kady McDermott, Zach was also left fuming at Whitney during the challenge
