LORD Sugar had backing in firing his latest Apprentice – from the candidate themselves.
Martial arts instructor Sohail Chowdhary agrees he was the right man to go after fumbling his role as project manager on the latest task.

The hopeful admitted he deserved to be fired after the episode
He said: “It was a fair firing. I agree with it… that’s my opinion. I know that’s not what people normally say.
“But based on the task, I felt like it was the right decision.
“When it comes down to it, there were a lot of mistakes.
“It would have been nice to have gone further in the process. But based on the task, it was deserved.”
The teams were asked to design a new lunchbox aimed at six-to-eight-year-olds, along with an app to encourage healthy eating.
Sohail added: “I was expecting it. I remember leaving the house in the morning and I was saying goodbye to people like, ‘This is likely going to be the last time you’ll see me’.”
Sohail insists the show is much tougher than it looks on TV.
He said: “It’s different to what you expect. When you watch the show you think, ‘They’re a bunch of idiots, I could do that’. But then when you’re on the show, you become one of those idiots!
“It’s a lot trickier than it looks like it does on TV. But I’m still so glad that I did it.
“It’s been such a surreal experience. The amount of opportunities I’ve had has been incredible. It’s five minutes of fame and I’ve loved every second.”
He added: “I’ve been in plenty of fights before and don’t get me wrong this is one of the hardest ones. It’s a loss, yeah, but you’re going to see a big win from me very, very soon.”
