But there’s a twist as it won’t be back on TV screens

The TV duo – Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood – hosted the BBC kids show from 2002 to 2006.

During its run, the show won two BAFTA awards and also coined the catchphrase, ‘BOGEYS!’.

And now, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show starting, Dick and Dom are bringing it back to the nation.

But instead of coming to fans through TV screens, the duo are taking the show on a tour around the UK.

And they will be performing at the O2 Academy in Glasgow on Thursday, May 11.

It is set to bring back all it’s iconic and classic moments from the show.

For example the Creamy Muck Muck segment where people in the audience get covered in gunk, as well as it’s games like the two-word tango, musical splatues, the grunty song.

But it will also have a family-friendly anarchic style and feature other games like the fairly hairy fizzogs, pants dance and what a sweaty flap.

The kids game show show first hit screens back in August 31, 2002, on CCBC and was then moved to a prime spot on BBC One.

Speaking to the Glasgow Times, Richard and Dominic said that now that they are 45-year-old, the pair have hit the gym to make sure they can keep up with the pace of the show.

Richard said: “It’s mad that 20 years have flown by, a click of the fingers and here we are bringing it back to the stage.”

Dominic added: “One of the maddest things is the average age of the viewer back then when we started was 10, so these people are now 30, so that’s just crazy.

“We’re going to the gym a lot because we have to get in peak physical fitness because we’re both around 45 and so we have to go to the gym a lot to make sure that we can physically handle it.”

Richard carried on: “It’s weird how things from your childhood really stick in your memory so hopefully it will bring back some happy memories for everyone.”

It’s not the first time the duo brought the show back for a live audience.

The pair preformed Da Bungalow Live in 2018 in front of a packed audience at the Edinburgh Festival.

And they are now looking forward to performing in front of a Glasgow audience.
