A BODY language expert has revealed the real reason behind Luca Bish’s strong reaction to Gemma Owen’s chat with Adam Collard.
Luca, 23, caused fury among Love Island fans during Tuesday’s episode of the ITV2 show when he shoved Gemma, 19, after spotting her with bombshell Adam, 26.

Now Darren Stanton, on behalf of Slingo, has revealed what could’ve been behind the response from Luca.
He said: “When the boys walked back into the villa to see Adam sat there talking to Gemma, most of the guys went over to greet Adam but Luca was hesitant.
“When he realised Adam had been having a cosy chat with Gemma, he immediately had his guard him. Across his face we saw a combination of different expressions, from shock to anger.
“His uneasiness with the situation was then revealed by Luca shoving Gemma out of the way when she walked up to him, with Luca instead making his way to Adam.

“Gemma displayed an expression of disbelief that Luca had practically ignored her.”
Darren continued: “When people want to appear more powerful than they actually are, especially in men, they will puff out their chest and shoulders, pushing their shoulders back in order to appear bigger and larger than life.
“This is a primeval gesture designed to intimidate and undermine the other person, suggesting Luca was trying to give off the impression that he will not be walked over when it comes to Gemma.”
Gemma was seen walking away after the shove asking: “Did you just see that?”
Fans were not impressed, with one writing: “Luca shoving Gemma oh hell nawwwwwww.”
