I’m A Celeb 2021 won’t be extended despite missed shows, confirm ITV

I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! won’t be extended – despite missed shows.

ITV have confirmed that they will not be making up the episodes that they were forced to axe due to Storm Arwen.

I’m A Celeb WON’T be extended

Three episodes were cancelled after Storm Arwen caused chaos

The reality series was sensationally cancelled over the weekend, and this morning it was confirmed that it won’t be back on screens tonight.

This is due to the damage caused to the production set by the bad weather – with the campmates evacuated to their quarantines on Saturday night.

Reps for the show have now said that the series will still end on the same date as originally planned, and they won’t be making up for lost time.

Storm Arwen has thrown the show into chaos after it left the production area “looking like a bomb has hit it”.

Bosses removed the campmates while they worked on the technical issues, and planned for them to return to the castle once production was safely re-established, with the quarantine conditions for the celebs the same as they were before they joined the show.

After three shows were cancelled, ITV announced this afternoon that I’m A Celeb will be back on our screens tomorrow night.

An official statement read: “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will return from tomorrow night (Tuesday 30th November) on ITV and ITV Hub with a brand new show. Ant & Dec will be back presenting live from the Castle.”

Contestants will face a new live trial on Wednesday night, and the public vote for who’ll take it on will open in tomorrow’s show, with Ant and Dec presenting live from the castle.

A source told us: “Production worked round the clock to get the site back up and running after Storm Arwen caused substantial damage over the weekend.”
