I’M A Celebrity South Africa fans were astonished to learn Carol Vorderman’s age on last night’s show – insisting she looks fantastic for 62.
The Countdown legend was ordered to walk off a platform into a huge canyon while tied to a rope in her first challenge.

And I’m A Celeb viewers couldn’t believe the svelte star was in her sixties.

The TV legend is no stranger to showing off her figure and admitted she was looking forward to slipping into her bikinis in the jungle.
She often shares sexy posts on her Instagram page.
And ahead of her jungle entry she posted a gallery of images showing her in a variety of sexy swimwear.
Starting with a leopard-print two-piece with thonged strapped detail highlighting her abs, Carol then uploaded a busty selfie in a swimsuit.
A third snap showed her patriotic side in a glittering Union Jack triangle-print top while she oozed Baywatch babe vibes in a red one-piece.
Maths whizz Carol then gave a flash of cleavage in line green and gold shimmer bikini tops before finishing off in a white zip up swimsuit.
Fans were quick to brand her “stunning” and a “gorgeous girl” after her image gallery.
Last night viewers got to see see Carol quite literally thrown in at the deep end when she dropped 50m over the side of a mountain.
Looking on in horror as presenter Carol prepared to take the plunge, Jordan Banjo told Amir Khan: “I feel scared for her.”
Just before stepping off the platform, Carol shouted: “Hello Africa, I love you.”
And a nervous-looking Jordan, 30, screamed as the former Countdown host made her move.
Carol will also be involved in the first jungle bust-up of the series after it was reported she and Janice Dickinson clashed over their views of the royal family.
An insider told The Mirror: “It was a really explosive bust-up… Janice was effing and blinding.
“Janice can be quite abrasive and things got very heated.”
