Fans were keen to see Owen take part in the next trial

I’m A Celeb viewers said they were ready to “vote in” the Hollyoaks actor after he told his co-stars how hungry he was.

He was later heard telling the Bush Telegraph how the thought of the trial made his “belly rumble” as he struggled without food.

The actor said: “I’m jealous, I can’t lie – I was really hoping for an eating challenge just because I feel like they’re not going to appreciate the stuff they’re eating.”

“I just wanted some food,” he told Babatunde Aleshe, before adding. “They will be retching, vomiting. I will eat anything.”
