I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans are convinced that Emmerdale star Danny Miller is “faking fear” after spotting clues that he is “playing up to the camera”.
The 2021 series of the hit ITV reality show kicked off last night, with Danny one of the 10 celeb contestants.
The 30-year-old actor was seen having a breakdown at the end of the ep when it was revealed that the public had chosen him to take on the first Bushtucker Trial.
Thrown immediately into the deep end, the star will compete in a vile eating challenge to win meals for his campmates.
He immediately started to panic as soon as he heard that the trial was called “Dreaded Diner”, with Arlene Phillips and David Ginola attempting to comfort him.
However, viewers at home were less sympathetic – and took to social media to claim Danny was faking his fear for screen time.
One wrote: “Oh yes Danny, let’s milk it and act fake stressed good tactic, well done.”
Another tweeted: “He seems really fake and playing up to the camera. I’d say like a good actor but I can see right through it already.”
A third agreed: “He’s a fake, pretending to be petrified at everything. It’s all for show.”
Ant and Dec confirmed that the other celebrity to take part in the eating trial will be announced on tonight’s show.
Meanwhile, Richard Madeley and Frankie Bridge took on their first I’m A Celebrity trial during the series launch, completing challenges while critters rained down upon them.
The pair took on the Turrets Of Terror, a three-level structure built in front of Gwrych Castle, after receiving the most votes from the public.

Frankie was quicker to complete each of the challenges and retrieved the key to the castle for the newly-formed red team, which secured them a stay in main camp with food and a bed.
Richard, on the other hand, sealed yellow team’s fate with their first night in Castle Clink with basic rations.
