I’m a Celeb viewers in hysterics as Chris Moyles rips into Matt Hancock during heated debate

I’M A Celebrity viewers were left in hysterics as Chris Moyles ripped into Matt Hancock during a heated debate.

In Friday night’s show the campmates grilled former Health Secretary Matt, 44, after he was exposed by The Celeb Report last year for cheating on his wife Martha Hoyer Millar with his closest aide Gina Coladangelo, 43 – breaking his own lockdown rules in the process.

Matt came under fire during the tense chat

As each of his fellow I’m a Celebrity stars had their say, radio DJ Chris, 48, was as brutally honest as ever.

He said: “We were liking you on the telly on the daily briefings. You were articulate and human.

“And I think that’s why a lot of people felt let down. And I’m like ‘you b*llend. Why couldn’t you have just…’

“But look, tomorrow is another day.”

I'm A Celeb stars turn on Matt Hancock as Charlene recalls aunt's Covid death

Fans at home rushed to comment on Twitter, with one writing: “Chris Moyles just called Matt Hancock a b*llend on television.”

And another said: “Chris Moyles calling Matt Hancock a b*llend to his face is top tier TV.”

Matt also clashed with Loose Women‘s Charlene White who recalled losing her aunt during lockdown.

Matt went on to explain he “apologised” for the incident, but it wasn’t enough for the campmates, who continued to grill him.

Charlene interjected, opening up about her heartbreaking experience.

She said: “It’s massively bigger than that. My aunt died from Covid in the first wave. So, we couldn’t go to the hospital to go and visit her.

“I had to sit by myself in the church at her funeral. We couldn’t hug each other because we were following guidance.

“I get that you fell in love, I understand all of those things, but sorry for a lot of families like mine doesn’t really cut it.”
