I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here viewers were all left fuming during Saturday’s penultimate episode.
Fans were eagerly anticipating the popular Cyclone Challenge where the celebs had to collect stars while being blasted by icy water.
Occurring every season as the final major challenge before crowning the champion, the Cyclone Challenge has become a fan favourite over the years.
This year David Ginola, Frankie Bridge, Simon Gregson and Danny Miller took on the popular challenge, and just as viewers were getting ready to see how they would get on, it cut to an ad break.
Fans not only complained that the ad break came as they thought the challenge would start, but that it seemed longer than normal.
“Just when the fun starts celebrity cyclone an ad break,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another angrily added: “Oh FFS! Just as they were starting the cyclone challenge.. F***in ads!! Get it sorted.”
And a third wondered: “WHY ARE YOU DOING AD BREAKS IN THE CELEBRITY CYCLONE ADVERT AAAAAAGH.”
Footballer David struggled the most in the Cyclone Challenge, marching across the slippery course in North Wales as Ant and Dec chanted his name.
Meanwhile, Frankie screamed while being pelted with a high-pressure hose and bouncy balls to complete her section of the challenge.
Two soap stars – Coronation Street’s Simon and Emmerdale actor Danny – helped them complete the course with seconds to spare.
David looked furious after the task – screaming: “You are all crazy.”
Viewers’ complaints come after they sent David packing – just hours before the show’s nail-biting final.
David – at one point the front-runner to win the show – getting the axe left many viewers at home stunned.
His fate may have been sealed by a row he had with former BBC Breakfast star Louise Minchin in last night’s show.
He called her bossy and patronising after she complained about campmates who hadn’t been pulling their weight with chores.
Speaking about his journey after getting evicted he said being on the show was like a “second adoption” by the British public after his welcome to Newcastle United in 1995.
He said: “It surprised me in a good way and a bad way because obviously it was really really hard. The conditions we were living in were very complicated.
“The food, the sleep, the lack of everything actually. But I kept some positive things in my mind, thinking: ‘I’m going to get out of the castle full of love for the people I love very much.’
“I can’t wait to get close to them because it’s a hell of a journey.”
