FURIOUS Jordan North fans are demanding a recount of votes after he lost out to Giovanna Fletcher to being named champion of I’m A Celeb.
More than 12 million votes were cast for their favourite contestant to win, however many were left disappointed that Jordan didn’t come first – especially after they felt he had a “much harder trial” than Queen Gi.
Venting their frustrations on Twitter, fans of the Radio 1 host slammed the final verdict.
One wrote: “Jordan was robbed he has had a full on journey in there”
“Fuming, Jordan has been well and truly robbed,” fumed a second.
“Now I know how Trump fees, can we have a recount?,” added another.
A fourth lamented: “I’ve had a sh*t week and now giovanna won over jordan – sorry but it’s fixed”
“No way,” penned a fifth, “That win should have been Jordan’s. Don’t get me wrong Giovanna seems like a lovely lass and she earned her spot in the final, nut I can’t help still think that Jordan should have been King of the castle.”
Many fans felt Giovanna had had an easy last task, with the mum of three chowing down on a series of animal parts.
The 35-year-old took it all in her stride and didn’t break a sweat but Jordan and Vernon were forced to endure getting covered head to toe in creepy crawlies.
One viewer wrote: “Giovanna didn’t even look bothered about the food trial but Jordan had to face his greatest fear? Hmmm”
“Why did Jordan and Vernon have such cruel tasks but Giovanna just had to eat a rotten egg?,” added another.
The author and podcast host beat off rivals Jordan North and Vernon Kay to be crowned Queen of the Castle in the Wales-set series.
She was the last woman standing in the camp but looked in shock to have been crowned queen after Jordan came second and Vernon third.
More than 12 million votes were cast since last night’s episode.
Giovanna looked shocked after she was revealed as the winner.
In her winner’s chat she told hosts Ant and Dec how happy she was.
She said: “I can’t believe people actually picked up the phone and voted. I can’t believe it, it’s been the most amazing experience.”
North said that he “couldn’t have lost to anybody better”.
Addressing Fletcher, he added: “You totally deserve this.
