I’M A Celebrity star Snoochie Shy has revealed she broke camp rules and wore make-up in the latest series.
The DJ, model and presenter, 29, has opened up on her cheeky antics in Gwrych Castle after fans were convinced some of the female stars had carted in their cosmetics.
I’m A Celebrity’s Snoochie Shy revealed she broke camp rules
Fans had previously questioned how some of the stars looked so flawless in camp
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she answered a series of fan questions including whether it was cold in camp, which camp mate she will miss most and how she felt about being away from her cat.
One of Snoochie’s followers asked: “When you left because of the storm they showed us what you lot had tried to smuggle in.
“What was yours?”
Wearing a blue top and her signature sparkling hoop earrings, the broadcaster admitted: “I smuggled in Fenty lipgloss,” before bursting into giggles.
She continued: “Yeah I smuggled back in the lipgloss – I’m sorry!
“I had to keep my lips hydrated, so the lipgloss got smuggled in.”
She then tagged Fenty in the response and followed up with a host of laughing face Emoji icons.
Fenty Beauty is popstar Rihanna’s beauty brand and has proved hugely popular since its launch.
STAR SMUGGLES
During the same chat, Snoochie also told how actor Adam Woodyatt stole her conditioner from camp.
Snoochie – whose real name is Cheyenne Davide – formed a close
bond with the EastEnders star, 53, during their time on the ITV show.
Snoochie was the third star to be evicted from the Welsh castle and she recalled how he faced getting into “trouble” by sneaking some conditioner into the main camp for her.
She said: “One of my best mates in there was Adam.
“I got on really well with Adam and we were talking about when we get
out.
“I’m going to take him to a rap show and he’s going to take me to a
musical.”
But she also let slip that the Ian Beale actor discreetly took the shea
butter conditioner from the downstairs bathroom at Gwrych Castle, where the stars can go and get cleaned up after a messy trial only.
The BBC Radio 1 Xtra favourite told RadioTimes.com: “He also stole some
conditioner from the downstairs proper toilet.
MUST BE MAKE-UP
As the show aired, Frankie Bridge and Snoochie got fans talking after appearing flawless on screen – leading some to suggest they had had a helping hand.
Make-up is famously banned on the show, as celebs have to go back to basics and live without luxuries.
Taking to Twitter to speculate, one person wrote: “Is it me or do the girls have make-up on? Frankie and Snoochie definitely do! I thought they weren’t allowed? Thinking faceThinking face.”
A second added: “Ermmm why are the main camp wearing jewellery and make-up?”
While a third remarked: “Wait, are the women in I’m a Celeb wearing make-up ??? Cos they’re brows seem to be drawn on!?!!”
Fans also questioned why Snoochie has been wearing large hoop earrings – but while some items are banned from Gwrych Castle jewellery isn’t.
Both Frankie Bridge and Louise Minchin opted to wear their wedding rings during the 2021 series.
Celebs are not allowed to bring in food, salt and pepper, pillows, make-up, cycling shorts, extra underwear, phones, books, messages from family, clocks and writing materials.
In 2017 Georgia Toffolo was given a special pass to wear products on her face because of her acne.
She told us at the time: “I’ve been to the doctors so much over the years. It’s a medical problem and I’ve been on strong tablets for six months trying to get rid of them.
“So show bosses agreed that, because it was a medical problem, I was allowed to put foundation on once a day in the morning.”
The broadcaster made sure to keep her lips hydrated with Fenty Beauty gloss
Snoochie, who was third to be voted out, successfully smuggled the product in a second time around
