OH BOY!

I'm going to be the Lion Queen on I'm a Celeb, says Boy George

It comes after the vegan pop sensation insisted he would NOT be stomaching any of the Bushtucker eating trials on I’m A Celeb.

Arriving in Australia yesterday, the Karma Chameleon singer said he would avoid chomping on creepy crawlies and animal bits as he sticks to his plant-based diet.

George, wearing a novelty lion mask, jokingly refused to admit he was there for the ITV series, adding: “I’m here to do a version of the Lion Queen.”

We previously revealed how Boy George has requested lots of green juice while in quarantine ahead of entering the jungle.

George has however put his requests into ITV bosses – who are making all of this year’s stars go into lockdown before heading into camp amid continuing Covid concerns.

When he was asked what he had requested for the show, George told The Celeb Report: “Lots of green juice.”

Quizzed about if the mask will be staying on inside the camp, he jokingly said: “Let’s hope so.”

The singer, who scored huge hits in the 1980s with Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me, also confirmed he would be meditating on the show which will start with 10 celebrities.

Presenters Ant McPartlin, 46, and Declan Donnelly, 47, touched down this week as the show returns Down Under for the first time in two series following the Covid pandemic.
