Last night, the I’m A Celeb contestants were put head-to-head against each other to battle it out for the BBQ beach prize.
The group were put through a series of challenges to try and win balls correlating to a colour they had each been assigned.
“Tomorrow there is a fantastic prize up for grabs, three of you will win a day at the beach, feasting on a Surf & Turf BBQ,” they were told.
“Over the next 24 hours you’ll get opportunities to win balls, and tomorrow, all the balls will be placed in a tombola and three will be picked at random. The more balls, the greater the chance of winning.”
By the end of the episode, Owen Warner was in the lead – but it looks as though he wasn’t picked by the random tombola selection.
Photographs today show MP Matt, 44, Lioness Jill, 35, and Coronation Street Sue, 59, pigging out at a beach BBQ on the white sand.
Flying to the luxurious destination in a helicopter, the celebrities were greeted with plush beach sofas and a table full of food.
The trio – still dressed in their challenge t-shirts – looked thrilled as they chowed down on Surf & Turf next to the ocean.
The group were seen helping themselves to the buffet-style lunch, shielding from the sun underneath a glamorous beach cabana.
Meanwhile, as the trio chowed down on their delicious lunch, a first-look at tonight’s episode shows Owen, 23, taking part in the next Bushtucker trial.
The Hollyoaks star is joined by Mike Tindall and Jill – who were picked by their campmates play more sickening games on the ITV show.
In the teaser clip from tonight’s show, Geordie Ant McPartlin shouts orders at Owen: “Oi! Oi! Get looking for balls will ya Owen!”
England footballer Jill finds herself trapped and looking for balls in a cage full of bugs and rugby star Mike is covered in jungle debris on a spinning platform.
Last night it appeared Matt Hancock would be joining Mike and Owen in the tricky trial after he eagerly volunteered first.
Viewers will find out why he was snubbed tonight in favour of Jill – it was down to camp mates to decide who took part.
Last night, Ant opened the show saying: “Hello, good evening, good morning and welcome to Australia and a show that features absolutely loads of balls.”
To which Dec said: “Yes, but fear not, there’s not a kangaroo testicle in sight because tonight those balls are part of a brand new challenge with an incredible prize.”
Ant went on to explain the challenge, saying: “Three lucky celebrities will be flown out of camp to enjoy a luxurious barbecue on Australia’s stunning Gold Coast.
“Trust me folks, it really is the trip of a lifetime.”
I’m A Celeb continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
