Fans have been all over what they claim are rule-breaks this series – also criticising Charlene White for helping make dinner and failing to sleep in the TV.
A third fumed: “Honestly, where are the consequences for rule breaks in this show? Owen was sat in the leader’s chair before too.”
Another insisted producers were going soft on the campmates, tweeting: “Gone are the days where #ImACeleb actually PUNISHED celebs for rule breaks.
“They used to pick out the TINEST most inconspicuous things – Owen sits in the leaders chair and Charlene helps make the dinner (not here role)… and nothing happens!”
Earlier today Ant and Dec weighed in on the debate over whether Charlene was breaking rules by refusing to sleep in the RV.
She has turned down the opportunity of a comfy bed in the caravan with Matt Hancock ever since being picked as his deputy camp leader.
Ant and Dec tweeted that she was not in breach of I’m a Celeb law.
They wrote: “The rules said that only the leader and deputy are allowed to stay in the RV, it didn’t state they HAD to…”
It comes after a viewer tweeted them directly asking: “In the past campmates have been penalised if they didn’t obey the rules, so why has Charlene been allowed to not stay in the RV?!”
