THE Apprentice star Amy Anzel has revealed that she’s happy she didn’t win the BBC One show and has a message for Lord Sugar.
The US cosmetics entrepreneur, 49, said her skincare business has taken off, saying her “brand is going from strength to strength, no thanks to The Apprentice”.

Fired candidate Amy was reportedly banned from the BBC shows final celebration show after she complained Lord Sugar posted “hurtful and insulting” tweets about her.
The businesswoman has put the past behind her and said she is glad she never won the popular show.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, Amy said: “I would say I didn’t need you anyway, I’m doing just fine my myself on my own and I get to
keep 100 per cent of my business, so way to go.
“So some times these things have to happen I guess in
order for you to realise you had the power all the time.
“A bit like in The Wizard of Oz, when it says you had it within you this whole time. So maybe that’s the message.”
Amy explained that the show was far from what she had expected and was proud of the experience.
“Ultimately you go into it thinking it’s a business show, factual entertainment, not reality and I took it so seriously.
But the truth is all reverse engineered and I never had a chance in the first place, no matter how much I could showcase my business accruement. Which is a sad reality but hey-ho! There you go!
“It was a good life experience and I made the most of being there, made some good friends.
“Onwards and upwards, I’m smashing it, I’m going from strength to strength and I get to keep every penny myself.”
Amy — the oldest ever contestant at 48 — told how she had to undergo therapy after filming the BBC business competition.
She was left distraught after Lord Sugar posted a tweet saying: “Amy didn’t sell she was so slow. Slower than broadband Wi-Fi in Cornwall.”
A friend said: “She couldn’t get her head around her firing.
“It came in week six because she’d not taken on the project manager role — but they’d failed to show she had put herself up for it in week two.
“She believed it was just an excuse to get rid of her.
“When Lord Sugar posted his tweets, she thought they were nasty, hurtful and insulting and told them so in an email.”
They added: “She knew the final taping was happening last Wednesday but they ignored her phone calls and emails again. Then Amy got an email saying that invitations were issued at their discretion.”
Amy had a Zoom meeting with production bosses at Naked TV, which makes the series for the BBC.
The pal went on: “She felt humiliated during that call.”
Viewers saw Kathryn Burn, 29, and Harpreet Kaur, 30, battle it out in the final to become Lord Sugar’s business partner, with the latter winning a £250,000 investment for her dessert business.
