A CONTESTANT who won a jaw-dropping £80k on The Chase has revealed how he plans to spend the prize money.
Player Dan made history winning the largest sum ever on the ITV game show on Wednesday.

He joined host Bradley Walsh and three other teammates Annabelle, Toby and Sarah.
Within the first 30 minutes of the show Chaser Jenny managed to beat contestants Toby, Annabelle and Sarah – meaning that they had to leave the competition.
Dan impressed Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan by getting five questions correct in the cash builder round but decided to risk it all and take the Chasers high offer of £80,000.
And it paid off after he answered 16 questions correctly and managed to take home an impressive £80k.

Host Bradley, 62, was left speechless and told Dan: “That is the highest amount any single player has ever won on the show.”
He then went over to give him a high five, as he said: “That was great.”
Brad was intrigued to know what he was going to spend the huge amount of cash on.
Dan explained that he was going to put the money towards seeing his family in New Zealand.
The TV presenter later joked: “When I say £80,0000 really, it’s only £72,000 because I take 10 per cent.
“Me and the crew are gonna go out to the pub for a drink after this.”
Dan has now revealed what he plans to blow the cash on.
“I used some of it to finish paying for my car on a finance deal, but I’ve put most of it into Premium Bonds,” he told The Metro added:
“The trip to New Zealand is currently on hold: my partner’s relatives know we’re going to come over to visit them, but only after we’ve bought a house in Birmingham together as after all, we now have a sizeable deposit.”
Dan said the huge win still feels “unreal” and was thrilled to win a place in The Chase “history books”.
“Even if I hadn’t won anything, though, I would still have had a great day,” he added.
“I just totally enjoyed being part of the whole experience of putting a TV show together.”

The previous highest jackpot winner was a player named Eden, who beat Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis to take home £75,000.
The biggest group win in the history of The Chase saw four players take home £100,000.
