THEY are two of the biggest stars on the telly, but Ant and Dec still love nothing more than going back to their family homes.
The presenting duo, who are currently on Britain’s Got Talent previously gave their fans a glimpse at their lives before fame as they went to visit their mums for their ITV documentary DNA Journey.
Viewers saw bits of Ant McPartlin’s mum, Christine Woodhall’s, house as they spoke about their family.
She has a compact kitchen, with a sink looking out into the garden and white cupboards lining the walls.
The kitchen’s island comes complete with hobs for cooking and an extractor fan. There’s also a big black fridge, that Ant tries to find biscuits in, much to his mum’s amusement.
The highlight of the kitchen is above the oven, where Ant’s mum has created homemade blinds to hide the microwave, rather than pay £200 for metal shutters.
Further in is a black dining table in an area covered in decorative pictures.Fans got a bigger glimpse of Declan Donnelly’s family home, as he meets his mum Anne Donnelly in the kitchen.
Airy, open and modern, the space has wooden cupboards with black marble surfaces.
The first sink looks out onto a sizeable garden, while the kitchen’s island has another in it.
The space is open plan, leading into the dining room. A shelf to the side of the table has family photos lined across it.
The dining room also backs up onto windows, framed by red and gold curtains.
Ant enters through the front door, which leads into the kitchen area.
The presenting duo took part in a two-part documentary to uncover their family’s past back in 2019.
Both of them broke down in tears in the episode, when Ant’s long-lost relative sang a song that was played at Dec’s dad’s funeral.
Also, it turned out in hilarious scenes that Dec is related to professional wrestler Dixie Carter.
