THE Great British Bake Off is back in full swing, with Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding, and Matt Lucas once again making their weekly visits to our living rooms alongside this year’s bakers.
This series’ cast and crew spent six weeks filming the show in a Covid-secure bubble at Down Hall Hotel in Essex.
This meant they all had to live together in the “biosphere” after self-isolating for nine days before entering the hotel and taking three coronavirus tests.
But when the stars of the show aren’t stuck in their Channel 4 filming cohort, they like to relax in their own homes with their loved ones.
Here we take a look at where everyone from Prue to Noel like to unwind.
PRUE LEITH
Judge Prue, 81, is famed for her colourful choice of outfits and glasses, so it should come as no surprise that her and husband John Playfair’s home is just as bright and cheerful.
The TV favourite’s kitchen has bold splashes of sunshine yellow, including a huge island with yellow cupboards and lemon-printed blinds.
Elsewhere in the house, there are further pops of colour – including a red-painted wall in the living room, which features pink sofas.
Another room is the house is painted in an eye-catching green, with more art jam-packed throughout the space to add a touch of personality.
PAUL HOLLYWOOD
Prue’s co-judge Paul has a much more traditional style, with his Canterbury farmhouse embracing a cottage-inspired vibe.
The 55-year-old star keeps his abode largely private, but has teased a glimpse at his large kitchen with charcoal counter-tops and wooden detailing on social media.
He also has a log fire perfect for cosy nights in, and proudly shown off his wood-oven in the garden – which he uses to make delicious pizzas.
MATT LUCAS
Presenter Matt has an incredibly modern home, with wooden floors, white walls, and chic black furniture.
He regularly shares snaps of himself with his beloved pet dogs to Instagram, and even got a portrait of them done to put on display.
Of course the 47-year-old presenter’s home isn’t without some quirks, with Matt proudly posing with a giant potato plush he has in his living room.
NOEL FIELDING
Matt’s co-host Noel, 47, tends to keep his North London home firmly behind closed doors, with the star living with wife Lliana Bird and their daughters Dali, three, and one-year-old Iggy.
But the brief glimpses fans have been treated to do not disappoint, incorporating the comic’s wacky style.
Noel posed in a skeleton onesie for a mirror selfie inside of his home, revealing ornate gold detailings, wooden floorboards, and bright clothing on display.
The family also have a large garden, complete with a glass-panelled out-house, plenty of flowers and bushes, and high fences for privacy.
In another snap, Noel revealed the brown-brick home’s large conservatory as he displayed four eye-catching pieces of surreal artwork he’d painted.
