Boy George’s incredible London mansion has hit the market for £17million
The extravagant home boasts high ceilings, enormous windows and decadent décor
Boy George is taking part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity as it finally returns to Australia
The Celeb Report recently revealed how the singer is being paid a whopping £800,000 to appear on the ITV show which is hosted by Ant and Dec.
Ahead of his arrival in the jungle, George has revealed his biggest fear and said he’s not looking forward to the bushtucker trials.
The gothic Grade II-listed home boasts six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a meditation space, cinema room and a private roof terrace.
He bought the extravagant property following the release of the band’s hit single Do You Really Want to Hurt Me? in the 1980s and has called it home ever since.
It was already a striking Italian-inspired villa – but it underwent several refurbishments under George‘s eccentric eye.
It is now filled with expensive artwork, religious artefacts and quirky memorabilia – including a cast of David Bowie‘s face.
And it is also significantly larger after reportedly merging with the property next door, once owned by singer Sam Smith, 30.
I'm A Celebrity
Photos from inside the “remarkable” 5,453 sq ft Hampstead house show its high ceilings, enormous bay windows and ornate décor.
They offer an insight into how George, real name George O’Dowd, spent the last 40-odd years.
The house, originally known as The Logs, was built in 1868 for engineer and developer Edward Gotto.
It was later lived in by British actor and comedian Marty Feldman, before eventually ending up as the Karma Chameleon singer’s home.
At its centre, there is a triple-height entrance hall where a dramatic black staircase leads to a landing brimming with art.
This leads to the master bedroom which overlooks Hampstead Heath and features a dressing room and a bathroom with a giant skylight for a ceiling.
There are a further five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a reception room, snug, study, sitting room, kitchen, utility room, cinema room and cloakroom.
And at the very top is a meditation tower and a roof terrace.
Outside, there is a secluded front garden, private back lawn and off-street parking for several cars.

Estate agent Aston Chase, which has listed the property with a guide price of £17m, said: “The Logs was historically home to British actor and comedian Marty Feldman, Sam Smith and latterly to another musical celebrity.
“It is unquestionably a truly exceptional residence representing a unique opportunity to purchase a historic Hampstead home reimagined to create a stunning East-meets-West oasis of calm literally abutting 790 acres of North London’s iconic Hampstead Heath.”
