Sally Carmen and Joe Duttine, known for their roles as Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe on Coronation Street, recently took a well-deserved break from filming and headed to the beautiful shores of Norfolk. The couple, accompanied by their adorable dog Figgy, documented their holiday on Instagram.
Happiness on the Sand
Sally, 42, and Joe, 53, looked absolutely delighted as they posed happily on the beach, sipping on cocktails and soaking up the sun. The photos showcased their love and joy, making it clear that they were thoroughly enjoying their time away.
A Pooch-Friendly Trip
Their furry friend Figgy also joined in on the fun. The cute pooch was captured sitting on Sally's lap during a cozy coffee break, which Sally made sure to mention in the caption of her Instagram post. It seems like Figgy had a fantastic time too!
From Shameless to Corrie
Sally and Joe have not only shared the screen on Coronation Street but have also worked together in the past on the hit Channel 4 drama Shameless. Sally portrayed the character Kelly Maguire, while Joe appeared as Cameron Donnelly. However, the couple revealed that they didn't actually meet until their time on Corrie.
A Delayed Wedding
Like many couples, Sally and Joe faced obstacles due to the ongoing pandemic and had to postpone their wedding. However, they were finally able to tie the knot in July last year at St Philip’s Church in Salford. They then embarked on a romantic honeymoon in Lake Garda to celebrate their love.
