Inside EastEnders hunky Jed star’s life off-screen – from surprising second job to gorgeous wife and celeb connections

HE is the new hunk on Albert Square but how much do you know about Bradley Jaden away from the BBC soap opera.

Bradley had arrived full throttle on EastEnders as Sonia Fowler’s new lodger, Jed.

He has became a quick favourite among the Albert Square locals and has certainly made a good impression on Sonia.

But this is not Bradley’s first claim to fame having enjoyed a successful West End career before appearing on the BBC One soap.

The star also boasts a soap star ex-girlfriend among his many celeb connections.

Having earned a first class honours degree in musical theatre from the Guildford School of Acting, it seemed no surprise that Bradley would take to the West End stage and put in a series of stellar performances.

Among some of his impressive turns are Dean Martin in The Rat Pack, Jake Blues in The Blues Brothers and Shrek: The Musical.

As well as appearing in West End hit Wicked, the actor has also appeared in a number of runs of Les Misérables flitting between the roles of Enjolras and Javert.

The stage is where Bradley first made a number of celebrity connections and has enjoyed a friendship with comedian and actor Matt Lucas.

Matt and Bradley hit it off when the former Bake Off presenter joined the O2 Arena leg of Les Misérables as Thénardier.

During the Covid pandemic, Matt teamed up with a number of stars to raise funds for the FeedNHS campaign where he duetted with different famous pals.

Bradley was one of the stars that helped him out on the campaign.

Sharing a clip to Instagram of their singing efforts, Bradley wrote:  “What an incredible honour to sing again with @realmattlucas for such an amazing cause. Please donate.”

His celeb connections do not there as his ex-fiance is none other than Amy Walsh, famed for her role as show favourite Tracy Metcalfe in rival soap Emmerdale.

The actress announced her engagement to Bradley in February 2017, after the couple kept their happy news secret for six months.

But their romance came to an end when Bradley moved on with his Wicked co-star and now wife, Olivia Kate Holding.

Amy, 31, had originally been set up with Bradley by her sister, Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh.

These days Amy is happily loved up with EastEnders serial killer Gray Atkins actor, Toby-Alexander Smith.

The happy couple welcomed their first child together, Bonnie, last year.

It appears as though Bradley and Olivia’s romance is still going strong as they tied the knot in July last year.

Gushing over his wife in a birthday Instagram post, Bradley wrote: “Happy birthday Squib! We’ve celebrated this day in Brussels, Paris, London and now lockdown. You’ve brought me so much happiness and days full of laughter.

“Your an incredible mum to our fur babies and they adore you as much as i do. Have a great day you little rocket.”
