EMMERDALE star Amy Walsh describes her chaotic Christmas with EastEnders actor fiance and Girls Aloud singer sister.
The Emmerdale actress admitted her typical Christmas day is comparable to a scene from the festive movie Home Alone, with the large family gathering at Girls Aloud singer sister’s Surrey home.

Amy, who is best known for her role as Tracy Metcalfe in the ITV soap, explained that she usually spends Christmas at her sister Kimberley Walsh’s incredible mansion, however this year will be different.
Joined by her ex-EastEnders actor Fiance, Toby-Alexander, their family ordinarily sees eight adults and seven children crowding round for their annual Christmas dinner.
But this year, the actress has revealed her and Toby, who is best known for his portrayal of villain Gray Atkins on the Albert Square, are spending Christmas with their young daughter Bonnie, who turns just one years old the day after Boxing Day, and Toby’s family.
She explained: “This will be my first Christmas ever without my family. We usually do Christmas at my sister Kimberley’s house – it’s like Home Alone!”
The star went on to say: “This year we’re spending it with Toby’s family, which will be lovely and intimate.
“Then for Bonnie’s birthday on the 27th, we’re planning an In The Night Garden themed tea party at my mum’s house.
“I’m making a themed cake and I’m trying to persuade my sister Sally to dress up as Upsy Daisy. She owes me one as I dressed up as Olaf from Frozen for her!”
Amy isn’t the only actress in her family, with sister Sally also appearing on Emmerdale as Lyn Hutchinson from 1997 to 2000.
Fiancé Toby, who popped the question whilst the pair holidayed at a beach club in Ibiza in August, detailed a typical Christmas with his side of the family, describing it as “intimate”.
He stated: “Mine’s more intimate – it’s me, my parents, my nan and my sister and her husband, who have just had a baby too, so it’s going to be really special.”
