EMMERDALE legend Chris Bisson is having his dream mansion being built from the ground up.
The soap star, 48, who plays Jai Sharma in the ITV soap, has shared progress of the build with fans on instagram.

He shared on instagram that the stairs have just gone in
One fan commented that the build ‘looks massive’
The sprawling pad has been under construction for the past ten months and is still some way from completion.
Chris and his wife Rowena Finn regularly pose in hard hats on the building site for instagram snaps.
And while workmen are busy on the build, Chris has been seen laying concrete in various social media posts.
Chris recently shared footage of the staircase and the first floor coming together after delays.
Earlier this week, he wrote on instagram: “After a grinding wet Autumn to get up to height, another big landmark was upon us. An actual first floor.”
He continued: “There was a lot of preparation before it arrived. All of the steel had to be set, checked and double checked to make sure were exactly right. I remember a lot of toing and froing with the supply company, but eventually we got there and it was all craned in over 3 days – and hey presto, we can keep building.”
One fan commented: “Mega mate. Dream home is huge and massively taking shape.”
A second added: “That looks masssive!!!!!!!!”
Chris has also marvelled at how the build has come along.
“It’s amazing to see how far we have come,” he wrote last week, after revealing how the weather had caused continuous setbacks.
In several throwback snaps, he then showed piles of slabs sat in snow on the site.
Back in November last year, Chris revealed the family’s plans to undertake the massive project.
He said: We’ve embarked on a little family adventure…
Building our forever home! It’s been a long time in the planning and we are excited to finally be making a start.”
