HOLLYOAKS star Jamie Lomas has shown off his stunning new kitchen and revealed it was inspired by Megan McKenna.
The actor, 46, turned to Wren Kitchens for his luxurious new fit after being impressed by the former Towie star’s own home refurb earlier this year.
Now with a gleaming island and a party-ready feature wall with a built-in TV and integrated wine cooler, Jamie is relishing entertaining over Christmas.
He said: “I’ve picked an absolutely beautiful kitchen and I’m over with moon with it. I can finally cook Christmas dinner for my family.
“The kitchen before was an absolute shambles like it was from the 1960s. So I’ve had to do so much work on the house including the front room and the bedrooms but we are finally getting there.
“I saw Megan McKenna’s kitchen and knew I wanted a kitchen like that and the designer at Wren was incredible and designed it to a T.”
The ultra-contemporary kitchen with beautifully curved units is packed full of hidden storage and integrated appliances such as Neff’s famous slide and hide oven.
Jamie has completed the sophisticated space with on-trend grey herringbone flooring and white shutters.
He said: “One of the best features in the kitchen is the boiling hot tap. It’s perfect for when I’m rushing in the morning to get on set!
The creative designer behind the kitchen build, Darren Watts, Wren Kitchens Design Director, said: “Jamie had a real contemporary vision for this space to work for both his family and for entertaining guests. It really was a pleasure to work with him on restoring his 1960s kitchen to this dream design.
“The main feature of the kitchen has to be the entertainment system with the built-in TV and integrated wine cooler to create the ultimate multi-functioning space. This contemporary feel flows throughout the whole of the kitchen with modern appliances from the boiling top to the induction hob, fit to make day-to-day life that little bit easier.”
