Inside Phillip Schofield’s 60th birthday with his ex wife, daughters and Ant and Dec and their wives at intimate bash

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD was surrounded by love as he celebrated his 60th birthday last night over an intimate dinner with ex wife Stephanie and their daughters Ruby and Molly.

The This Morning host tagged his family in a video on Instagram as he revealed a glimpse of his special night with his nearest and dearest.

Declan Donnelly and his wife Ali Alstall were spotted in Phillip’s videos

Phillip’s ITV co-stars Ant McPartlin, Declan Donnelly and Christine Lampard joined them at a restaurant and sat around a huge table in a private dining room as glasses of wine were topped up by a waitress.

Phil was sat beside Stephanie, wife Ant’s wife Anne-Marie Corbett to her right followed by the Saturday Night Takeaway host, while Declan, 46, and his missus Ali Astall sat opposite.

The group looked in high spirits and Phil beamed as they sang happy birthday and he blew out five candles on his cake.

The Dancing on Ice host shared the clips on Instagram and joked he was was delighted to “turn five years old” and proudly added: “Day 3 of celebrations, thank you gorgeous gang. Love you.”

Phil turned 60 on Friday, on his day off from This Morning, but was given the full works by his team and co-star Holly Willoughby the day before.

They pulled out all the stops by presenting Phil with a sprinkle cake, bottles of booze and sweet birthday cards.

But Phillip’s biggest role is being a father to his daughters Molly, 29, and Ruby, 26.

The presenter is incredibly close to his girls and they have been his rock after he revealed he was gay last year.

Phil – who was married to wife Stephanie Lowe since 1993 – broke down in tears as he discussed their reaction on This Morning.

During an interview with co-host Holly Willoughby, he said: “It wasn’t easy [telling my daughters]. But they are so amazing in their love and support. They jumped up and gave me a hug, a big hug, a long hug. They hugged Steph and said,

“‘It’s OK, this is fine.’ We’ll always be a family. Always, us four, is what we call ourselves.”

Speaking about his marriage in 2020, Phillip said he and Stephanie have no plans to get a divorce.

“We’re picking our way through. It’s a work in progress,” he said.

He added: “I’m still married to Steph. With divorce… we’ve not discussed that at all.”

The couple tied the knot at Ackergill Tower in Scotland on 29 March 1993 after meeting while Stephanie was working as a production assistant on the BBC in the early 1990s.

Their reaction comes as little surprise considering just how close Phillip has always been to his girls.

His eldest Molly even works alongside him as an assistant talent manager at James Grant group, which represents both him and Holly.
